I never loved someone the way that I loved you” is the chorus of the well-known lyrics to soul diva Alicia Key’s first hit single. “Fallin’ ” entered the charts at number one in 2001. At 22 years-old, young, gifted and beautiful, Keys has sold over 10 million copies of her debut CD worldwide, making her album go multi platinum. The songstress has also won five Grammy awards, which has associated her with the record of most Grammy’s won by an artist (along with Lauryn Hill), in Grammy history.

In fact, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Miss Keys herself was confident in her expectations that the album would do quote, “ what it is meant to do”. “This album is going to be the bomb”, she said and later told ET that she has worked extremely hard on each of the tracks. “The Diary of Alicia Keys” is composed of a variety of jazzy, soul and hip-hop beats.
