Alumni Reflection
by:  Anika Van Wyck

The days of that final week passed by and as grad got closer and closer, the only emotion that I felt for sure was nervousness. I’d get this knot in my stomach every time someone mentioned the word grad.

Finally, the big night came and I did a lot of laughing, we all brought up a lot of old jokes and remembered good times we’d had together. I won’t lie though; I also did a lot of crying, thinking about all the people I would miss and all the things which would never quite be the same. All in all, I remember the big night as one big mass of emotional confusion that contained a few awards and some great dances in between. Still, it was an amazing night that felt worthy enough to be labelled the culmination of two amazing years at one very amazing place. I will always remember it fondly and I’m sure the 2002 grads will feel the same.
